Guang Liang Tong hua(fairytale) is good. Some of his other songs are good too like "Promise" and Jie ding (like date/promise. Vincy Chan has some pretty nice stuff too like Wo ni ta (Me you her),Gan jie(Feeling) i think. Miriam Yeung also has some good stuff. Stuff from "It Started with a Kiss" is pretty good too. Try it.

Are you into Cpop? Because everything that's been mentioned are related to Cpop. If you're more into rock, Mayday is a good band to check out. So it Sodagreen, F.I.R, and Convenience Store. If you're kinda into hip hop, then try out Vanness Wu or Machi.

Don't think anyone mentioned Fahrenheit yet so I'll say them. Also maybe F4, Vic Zhou, Tank, and Sun Ho.

Some of my favorites (a few have been mentioned before):

Jolin Tsai (Cpop, but with a more hip hop/dance pop edge)

Sun Yan Zi "Stephanie Sun" (Cpop, definitely more of a ballad type, but she's different in that she doesn't sing with a cute high voice, her voice is actually rather low for a female Cpop singer... if you've seen the movie "Turn Left, Turn Right", she sings the opening theme song)

Alan Kuo (he sings the theme to the asian drama Mars, he has a deep voice and tends to have more of a rock sound)

F.I.R. (Cpop, definitely pop, but with more of a Taiwanese folk sound to it...or so I think)

Cherry Boom (Cpop/punk band/pop rock... they definitely have a different kind of sound than other Cpop artists)

    Hope this helps!

what japanese groups have you listened to? Perhaps if you list some of those Japanese groups you like, I can recommend stuff that is closer to that *lol*

I recommend Mayday, their closest japanese counterpart would be glay. FIR is similar to Do As Infinity, and is really good too.

Will also recommend JJ Lin, Jay Chou if you like hip-hop/pop.. =)

    For something different...
Canto pop .... Candy Lo and Denise Ho. Pop but edgier. I like Candy Lo's older material.
Janice Vidal -also Cantopop, she has a pretty voice.
Soler - 2 bros, they sing in English, canto and mandarin. Rock and pop. Heck...they are not even Chinese. Check them out.
