Singer Jang Nara will sing a duet dedicated to this year's Beijing Olympics entitled 'Our Dream' with famous Chinese opera singer Liao Changyong.
Jang's management agency said, "The Chinese singer had earlier expressed his intent to one day sing with Jang, and the occasion came as Korean and Chinese artists alike hope for a successful Olympics."
Jang will record the song in Beijing Thursday and also shoot its music video.
Liao Changyong has previously sung with soprano Jo Sumi.

Why is a Korean singer singing the Beijing Olympic song? Are there no Chinese female opera singers good enough for Liao Changyong? That's just weird. Is Jang Nara a really good opera singer? I've never heard her, so I wouldn't know. Is she singing Chinese? I still think it's very weird that the first ever Chinese Olympic and they ask a Korean singer, not that Korean is bad, but I though China would be very strict about only Chinese people doing Chinese Olympic...or something like that.
globalisations gota start somewhere. but she wasnt in that much of the clip anyway. lots of south east asian singers too in the beijing welcomes you clip but not all of them actually performed at the oc or the cc.
