51-year-old woman arrested for killing parents in Tokyo

A 51-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murdering her 92-year-old father and 80-year-old mother in their Higashi Kurume City home on Friday.

Police received a call just before 10 a.m. Sunday from the woman, who said that she had stabbed her parents to death two days earlier. Police rushed to the home and found her father dead in a room on the first floor, with a cord wrapped around his neck. He also had stab wounds below his ear. The woman’s mother was found dead on the second floor with stab wounds to her neck also.

The unemployed woman who lived with her parents told police she killed them as she was tired of looking after them.

Because of our parents, we are able to live.
That woman should just send them to a retirement home instead.

This women is maniac and she is the one who need help. Killing her parents is not gonna change her life in a better way. It will becoming much worst then she already had. It's true that life is hard, but it doesn't mean that we should give up on our life by taking shortcuts.

There are other people who have to lives their life without their parents on their side and wish that how happy there are if their parents are still a life. But this women just wasted it by killing her parents. Can't imagine our life without our parents on our side.

Has it occurred to any of you that she may not have had the ability to send them to a nursing home? I'm not defending her, but perhaps we could be more empathetic and understanding towards people who have problems, and perhaps then we could help prevent this sort of stuff happening...

Yeah, the article did say that she was unemployed. She probably didn't have the financial means to send them to a home. Still doesn't make it right though, I mean, they're your parents...

Ya, it's true that she is unemployed and she can't afford to send her parents to Nursery or Elderly Home. But, she can ask for help and ask for others sympathy.

If she killed her parents with their approval or probably her parents asked her to kill themselves, then can’t help with it.
