I <3 this drama~!!! (: *watched all 3 season*
Yakumi is really a very interesting character and rather funny in ways. (:
Things that the students do to make Yakumi quit is also super funny hahaha... somehow I can't really think of those to be happening in real life or at least that's what I think.

First two seasons were alright, and then they had to go and make a third one...
some shows should be left alone when they're good as they are...

I had fun and enjoyed watching the first season but the 2nd and 3rd were pretty much the same, repetitive an boring in the end... But I kept on watching mainly because of the vice-principal Sawatari, he's freakin funny!!!

It is the first time that i heard anyone is watching Gokusen because of Sawatari.
No doubt he is funny but some times i think his role is a little lame on the side; just a little.

I thought the third season was pretty boring, it just took all the jokes from the first and second season and squeezed it in. I like the Second season best though ^_____^

Haven't watched the third season yet. Really adored the first one, personally I missed Shin in the second one, but it had it's redeeming qualities. What irks me, is the whole thing with the three guys in the end who say they are going to fight for Yankumi, and they never (or at least to this point) haven't done anything with it. Personally I think they really messed up with that.

sigh...though im a fan of the series, i also think that the series just dint quite capture its initial flavour like in the 1st series. the 2nd one was still oK....but kamenashi was a li'll too cool for my liking. still think Arashi's matsumoto jun's the cutest in the whole 3 series! :P

The first season was the best for it was revealed that the female was a yakuza princess and three and four did not have any significant secrets ....for me at least.....
Also it is about time they had a mixed school.....boys and girls......and pertaining to this the second season introduced the idea of a mixed school setting but....boy was i disappointed when it turned to be yet an another all boy class at the start of the thrid season....sigh...maybe the fourth.....?

nah. the formula for gokusen is the teacher dealing with a bunch of problematic boys. You can't have the same..... fights in Gokusen if you had female students now could you?

I think yakumi has fought in first season, although it was a yakuza style. But it was good enough. Btw, what kind of fight that you want to see?

Actually I wanna see much more actions. I wanna see like she trying to show her fight skill or something like that when she in difficult situation. Have such smooth and fast movement...

if she fight like that, defeat 3 or 4 person that tried to hit her at one time, this film will be more like female yakuza film.

Maybe the producer want to show her as a teacher, so scene for fighting is reduced and be like common people fighting style. If she can hit more than person in one time, maybe she is a superwoman, not a teacher . That's my opinion

BUT, I really like if they add fighting scene like you talked about (defeat 3 or 4 persons that tried to hit her at one time from back, front, left and right.). It's cool.
