Mizushima, Eikura team up for "Mei-chan no Shitsuji" adaptation

The ongoing manga series "Mei-chan no Shitsuji" is being adapted as a live-action TV series on Fuji TV next season. Young actors Hiro Mizushima and Nana Eikura will co-star in the romantic comedy.

The original comic by Riko Miyagi, also known as "Mei-chan's Butler," is currently serialized in the Shueisha magazine Margaret. The story revolves around a young woman named Mei (Eikura) who finally finds the "butler of her dreams" (Mizushima), whom she has been searching for since a past encounter. Takeru Sato will play Mizushima's younger brother.

Fuji TV will air the show on Tuesdays at 9:00pm, starting in January.

I've been following this series for quite some time and it's up to episode 6 now

If you are into beautiful guys or like those dramas that has a lot of pretty boys like Hanakimi, then this is the perfect drama for you

Mizushima Hiro is a very good actor but I've seen him in too many dramas and it's always the same character, either the handsome hero or the main lead in a pretty boy series, examples would be Hanakimi, Zettai Kareshi and King of Rooms
Wish I can see him in other more serious roles in the future

My first time seeing Eikura Nana in a leading role so can't comment much on that

First time i saw eikura nana is in Proposal Daisakusen. I love her in that drama.
Actually I only see this drama once (eps2 i guess) when i'm working on my paper with my friends in living room. At first...we're laughing reaaaaly loud because some of us actually think that this drama is...stupid (sorry, no offense).
But...I think it's normal because it is an adaptation from manga.

This drama is really enjoyable. Most cast I recognised them from Hana Kimi. It's a light drama filled with ikemen (handsome) boys. Eikura Nana's role is okay since I saw her from Proposal Daisakusen. I love most cast especially Sato Takeru^^ A nice drama that I enjoy watching and looking forward to watch each week. Plus the concept, as crazy as it sounds, it's nice. A butler for a lady not any butler but handsome butlers^^ Plus the drama is really funny^^
