Maki Horikita to play homeless girl in Fuji's new drama

TOKYO —

Actress Maki Horikita, 20, will play a homeless girl in Fuji TV’s new drama from April. In the new drama, which is not yet titled, Horikita will play a girl who becomes homeless due to her deceased father’s debt. She then marries a rich man who later dies of an illness, leaving behind six adopted children.

Horikita said, “When I saw my photo on the poster, my dirty appearance made me feel something that I had never experienced before.”

Maki chan is really catching my eyes now. She can really act. 1st i noticed her in hana kimi and then next in Innocent Love. Now she's coming up with this which looks so different from the previous 2 drama. I can't wait for it to start showing now. Thanx for the news.

Is it supposed to be a comedy, or a serious drama? I can't really tell from the plot line. x_x; Nevertheless I'm interested to see what this drama will be about. I rather like Horitaka Maki so I think it'll be worthwhile regardless.
