Meitantei no Okite (The Law of the Detective ?), a mystery drama based on Keigo Higashino's short stories collection is due in Spring. Keigo Highashino's novels that have been adapted for television include Galileo and Ryusei no Kizuna. (Galileo features a scientist-detective. Ryusei no Kizuna is about three orphans determined to take revenge on their parents' murderers.) His only novel translated into English is entitled Naoko.
The leading role is played by Matsuda Shota who was one of the F4 boys in Hana Yori Dango, a mastermind swindler in Liar Game, the heroin's ally in Jotei and a photographer in current airing drama Love Shuffle.

I'm really waiting to see this drama. And it's not because I like the other cast (Kashii Yuu and Kimura Yuichi) I just don't mind them, but to see Matsuda Shota as leading role in a detective/comedy drama it's going to be great!
