Great drama; it's really, really heart-wrenching, but definitely worth the watch.

I would suggest watching something more light-hearted like Nodame Cantabile afterwards, though, haha...

It lives up to its name; a real tear jerker. My sister cried when watched it. Actually I wanted to but I pretended to stay cool LOL (at least I won't cry in front of my own sister)

This drama is all about tears and Erika.
The drama that brought Erika to fame is just so good that even years after the drama has been released, people are still watching it.
No doubt that it is a sad drama and it really depicts the human emotion in a critical condition, Erika's kawaii-ness just add more sadness to it.

One of the best drama i ever watch!

This drama is DEFINATELY a tear jerker ! ... i cried so many times heck i even wasted a 7 packet of tissues (the ones you keep in your bag when your out.... so i had to go out and buy more after) ... this movie was also inspiring ! she managed to try and stay happy even with such a harsh condition !

I crying started on episode 4 or was it 5 again.. when the news broke out to the family.

Watched it a couple of times already and still I think it's still touching and even the during flights they have it.

This show always reminds me of Taiyou no uta...

I watched it a long time ago but I still can feel the sad and tears..

I downloaded it but my housemates watched it first and I wonder why did they cry and a lot of tears going down their face. Yes, we're all male. I thought I'll never cry because I had a hard solid rock heart.. But it turns out I was wrong. Watched it alone in the dark and I cried like mad until all my tears dried already.

I'm cool for the first three episode but as it goes on, every episode is a tear jerker for me. Erika was so good in this drama.

p/s: don't tell my friends that I cried for this coz I told them I'm not.. real ego here.. lol.

This drama is superb. Thumb Up!.

It makes everyone who watched it cry badly.. Even guys also cried after watching it. My brother is the one who recommended me to watch it.

The opening and ending songs are also great.

I suggest that everyone should watch it especially all guys out there... hahahahaha

this will always be one of my favourite doramas! I watched it already 4 or 5 times and even one little pic from it is enough to make me wanna watch the whole show again... <33

I simply melt away with the awesome performances of the actors, especially Aya's and Haruto's, of course! (I admit, Haruto made me a Ryo-fan... 8DDDD) and imo, Aya x Haruto is the biggest dorama-OTP ever...don't they just make your heart skip a beat even if there's not much action between them? you can just feel their love <3~
but I also admire the strong feeling of solidarity and togetherness in Aya's family...it's so touching .__.
the whole dorama just makes you treasure your healthiness and loved ones more <3

even though everyone seems to cry several liters of tears while wtaching this series, I haven't cried that much...ok, I just don't cry easily when it comes to doramas so that might explain it...however, I did bawl my eyes out at episode 8 and I cried again because of the last episode T__T
Laugh and the world laughs with you.

1 litre and sekai no chuushin are two of the saddest drama i have seen. the theme song, i believe it's konayuki, was one of the hit favourites at that time. the scenes + konayuki was a damn good combo in bringing out the tears.
