An online monitoring site, chartkorea.net, announced that the four-member female group Jewelry’s “One More Time” was the most played song of 2008. Based on a survey conducted on roughly 2,000 music programs on 150 different channels in 27 regions, “One More Time” was played a total of 4,852 times over the year, which translates to about 13 times a day.
Second place was taken by traditional pop singer Ryu Ki-jin’s 2005 release “Looking for Him,” which was aired 4,320 times in 2008. It was followed by “La La La” of SG Wannabe (4,225 times), and Wonder Girls’ “So Hot (4,221 times)” and “Nobody (4,143 times).”
In the American pop music category, Abba’s “Dancing Queen,” riding the popularity of the hit film “Mamma Mia,” came first with 937 times. Jennifer Lopez’s “Brave” and Beyonce’s “Listen” followed with 868 times and 776 times played on the air, respectively.

WOW. Hearing "One More Time" 13 times every day would drive me crazy. Haha. Every time they do the dance move with their fingers though...it just reminds me of E.T.! BAHAHA. Ah well, the song's catchy but it gets old after awhile. Just like Wonder Girls' should just stop coming up with remixes of "Nobody" and come out with another single! Hah.
