Kelvin Kwan and Jill Vidal was arrested last month in Japan due to having cannabis,
Amusic spokesman Miss. Shen said in a telephone yesterday: "Jill's a manager Chen's lawyer contacted with Japan, next Monday the Japanese police will be announced in detail, they will be guilty or not with any law they offended will be clarify at that time, they should be immediately returned to Hong Kong if they are not classify as guilty, the lawyer haven't disclose they (both Kelvin and Jill) need to appear in the court or not."

There are several news about them in Hong Kong as well, many HK's singers are concerned about them.
I have heard that Jill's company said that if she's really guilty for the cannabis, then the contract between the company and her would be ended.
Hope they are gonna be ok, I am especailly worried about Jill more, Bless them.

You are only telling half the story ...

They were caught shoplifting in Japan ~ when police arrived they adamantly denied it ~ but then was searched and revealed lifted items ~ on top of that the guy had a few joints on him ~ of which he said was his not Jill's.

Basically they have been sitting in jail for about 3 weeks as their record company hasn't bothered to do anything to get them out ~ their parents having business connections in the industry have tried to get Japanese Entertainment company connections to get them out of jail ~ even when they have been visited by their parents the Police did not allow them to speak as Japan has a strict language policy in that while you are in their country u basically have to use their language hence getting legal aid has been an issue ~ on top of that why there is no progress is the fact that the 2 of them haven't requested to speak to a lawyer hence forth they are sitting there since they haven't requested aid to be released.

Fact of the matter is the guy is literally a nobody (its big news since he is Alan Tam's God son) and honestly Alan Tam is an old fart that needs to stop trying to keep himself in the lime light. As for Jill she hasn't had that great success ~ I mean come on ... the Hong Kong music industry isn't exactly what it used to be ~ not many good singers left and not many new and upcoming artists that have any talent since they cannot generate any decent sales nor do they stay in the news due to slow periodic releases. Jill being under Leon Lai doesn't help her cause as Leon Lai doesn't know anything about promoting any of his artists properly. Leon Lai is pretty much an aging has been that needs to cut his losses and move out of the entertainment industry.

i hope they get "frozen" by their record companies and disappear from the industry after this...

Kelvin Kwan said he'll retire from the entertainment industry.... while Jill is in even more trouble for having COCAINE!!!!...welll imo... Japan's prison is pretty clean and nice compare to other countries....
