    Would you be happier if Janne da Arc reunited again from their solo ventures?

    I had to hold myself back from being silly and putting something vulgar in place of ventures in the title as I'm really not as fascinated by them going off and doing solo projects as I am with them as an awesome band by themselves.

    Who here thinks they should be back together and preffered their music in the older style, as opposed to Yasu's acid black cherry, etc?

    What about another option, "No, I really don't like or their solo projects that much?"

    Honestly, since JDA broke up they let Kazuyuki Matsumoto off his leash to put out solo work. Which is far better in my opinion. >_>
    I do not credit myself with anything I post.

    Well, the question was aimed primarily at fans of either of them, but if it lets me edit it in I'll do so another time. I do agree that acid black cherry wasn't the fece pile I was expecting since I felt a strong connection to how well they glued together as a team. So I'll assume the other projects are good too. I just, really love Janne da Arc, haha.

    Is there a list of all the other solo projects?

    On their wiki, there is a portion at the bottom about what they are doing now.

    JDA is great, Acid Black Cherry is good, but not really my style

    I really really hope they can reunite, and make another great work

    I think I loved their old style; it was really heavy yet really tuney. They had heavy base, heavy guitar and yet despite being as far from softcore as possible they had really epically melodic and cheerful tunes too. I loved how unique and diverse they were song to song while mostly staying within the same genre too.

    Miss em badly. ;_;

    Well I although I really liked JDA, Acid Black Cherry's first album wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. But Recreation was really slow and i did not enjoy it. I really wouldn't care if they reunited or stayed solo.

    I honestly feel a big part of life itself was squashed when Janne da Arc went to pursue solo projects, because quite frankly music helps shape ones life and sense of self when you care about it enough. They were so damn awesome. They weren't a set of music and sounds for me to listen to, but they were the set of music and sounds for me to listen to. It was like a continous soundtrack for my own lifestyle.

    Sucks they decided to cut it off.

    JDA were awesome but the solo projects are equally stunning.ABC Black List was great,recreation was mediocre with many strong tracks.Kayu's solo was playful and catchy.You's solo was too complex for me but I patiently await for his next album.Kiyo's solo album is just plain amazing people might be alienated because it is mainly instrumental with two vocal tracks(in the one sings Yasu!!)but the music is absolutely amazing.I wonder why shuji doesn't make a project of his own(he definitely have skills).

    If they can reunite without dissolving their projects would be pure bliss but that is too good to hapen and life on the road is hard to have multiple bands to work.

    Can I make a request?The new You album "Life the third movement" hasn't been uploaded yet by any Janne fan(it was released in early august).Is there any chance of any Janne fan to upload it for us?I live in europe and getting it is a bit hard...

    Thanks everyone for being interested in my favorite band!

    fanboy rant over!

    Janne da Arc were so damn widespread in appeal though and people will never know it. Try playing it around a friend, songs like Wild Fang and Warning catch on well. Alot of people around me found their works equally as awesome. It seemed like they were just getting started too. ;_;

    I do concede black list is ****ing awesome but... JDA. Oh my god. It'd be so cool just to have one new Janne song once in a while.
