Sawajiri, Takashiro register marriage

It was rumored that the high-profile couple of Erika Sawajiri and Tsuyoshi Takashiro would formally register their marriage on New Year's Day, but it is now reported that the couple submitted their marriage registration on January 7. The pair will be holding their wedding at the Meiji Shrine on the 19th as planned.

i remember hearing about this rumor. considering a lack of reports on it, i'm guessing it was a rumor? or is the new couple working hard to keep their relationship quiet? :S any confirmation on this?
