Hong Kong Heavenly King Andy Lau Tak-Wah and his Malaysian girlfriend Carol Chu will wed late next month.

Rumours of the 47-year-old star’s upcoming wedding have been rife, with Chu spotted shopping in Hong Kong purportedly for the bridal trousseau.

Earlier talk put the wedding date at April 6, which coincides with the former beauty queen’s 43rd birthday, as he wanted to have a “double happiness” celebration. But the latest news is that he will throw a birthday bash for her instead, with the wedding taking place late in the month.

The wedding is set to be held for three days in Kuala Lumpur after Lau’s China concert tour, which ends on April 27.

Rumour hitch to Andy Lau wedding talk

THE wedding of Hong Kong entertainer Andy Lau and his Malaysian girlfriend Carol Chu turned out to be just a rumour.

According to China Press, a news website in China had sent its reporters to Malaysia to investigate the truth behind news that the couple were getting married this month.

The website reported that even though there was talk that the duo had bought an expensive house in Kuala Lumpur, no one had seen the couple at the house.

When the reporters checked another house in Penang, reportedly owned by Lau, the security guards there said the “wedding talk” was just a lie.

The reporters also went to a temple to check out talk that Lau had gone there to pray for a baby. The couple were said to have been together for 24 years.

According to earlier reports, the “wedding” was to be celebrated in Kuala Lumpur for three days at the end of this month.

OMG.. is it true clover?..I'm sure that all Malaysian people will be disappointed if the wedding is become untruth..By the way, I don't even heard about the rumors that Andy Lau will be getting married. If it is truth, I'm sure that this news will become hot news in all malaysia entertainment news TV Channel. Or probably I'm the one is not up-to-date =P
