    Hacken and Emily tie the knot

    yessssssss he got married


    Tuesday November 28, 2006 HONG KONG at 08:30pm

    Today is the wedding day of Haken & Emily Lo. Haken had started dressing up since 9 in the morning.
    He met up with best man Andy Lau, together they set off to the bride's house.
    Haken who openly announced that he will married before 40 finally has his dream fulfilled.




    Haken & Emily has been together 14 years since 1992.
    In 1992 Haken was the performance guest of the HK Beauty Pageant when Emily was crowned Miss HK.
    After winning the title, Emily went into retirement, she ever declared,
    "The greatest benefit I get in this circle is to meet Haken."




    Hacken appears blissful whenever her girlfriend was mentioned, even in the major music awards,
    he acknowledged her. After winning Most Popular Singer consecutively 2 times he openly declared
    that he will marry her before he turns 40.
    Alan Tam has agreed to be the witness while Andy the best man a year ago.
    Andy is the only invited by Hacken to be the best man.



    Today before 12 noon the bride was brought to the groom's house.
    The dinner will be held at Hotel Intercontinental (Tsim Sha Tsui).
    Andy is the best man while Alan Tam the wedding solemnizer. The bridesmaid was Emily sister .
    The brothers & sisters team comprised of Liang Si Chong, Liu Wei Hen, Qian Guo Wei, Chong Li Qi,
    Chai Shao Fen, Che Wan Wan & others. Nat Chan & many other stars turn up to congratulate.
    Close to a hundred media turned up.




    Haken under the blessing of all brought his bride out, he was all smiles, it was a sea of merriment.
    There was no registration ceremony, the newly wed did not receive any media interview,
    except posed 10 min for the media to take photos.
    Haken had pre-prepared a speech to narrate his feeling & the marriage arrangement.
    The banquet of 46 tables was held at Hotel Intercontinental.

    Yeah. Congrat to Hacken, have you note that his lastest album have two songs about father-son relation? Guess he is expecting a son soon huh?

    I like the "twins" song (wonder it this an OP for chinese drama?).
    Nowaday, chinese couples is more open minded even if they get girl as a first child.
    But the "courtship" take more than a decade, its really long time o.0

    Hmm really varies. Though it's true most are very open minded now and most parents are too. My girlfriends parents are quite open minded in many ways but very strict for some traditional values. No leeway at all. Though to add to the subject they've hinted at how much they'd like a grandson. -_-;
    Charming to see this though. I really kind of prefer a Chinese style wedding over western nowadays but everyone varies. I just find the traditional style a lot more fun and with some deeper meaning.
