    Seven to Debut in U.S.

Singer Seven says he is planning on debuting in the United States in August.

The Sankei Sports has reported recently that Korean R&B singer Seven disclosed his U.S. debut plans on a show of the Tokyo Internet video broadcaster Ameba Studio.

The daily also said that Seven appeared on the show to promote his sixth single album that went on sale in Japan July 4, and that some 630 fans attended the show.

Seven said he will leave for the U.S. in August and that he is strongly determined to rise to the challenge despite numerous difficulties that Asian artists face in America.

On June 30, the singer successfully finished his tour in Japan that covered Nagoya, Osaka and Chiba Prefecture.

Hmmm..... I really don't know. I want him to be successful, but the US is a market that's still primarily run by white caucasian people and unless they can other him in a way that essentially justifies his 'Koreanness'... he won't do very well.

Still, good luck Se7en! Prove me wrong!
