Actress Erika Sawajiri caused a traffic accident in Tokyo on Monday. Fortunately, no one suffered any injuries.

Sawajiri was driving in the Meguro ward of Tokyo at around 9:00pm on December 17. She was making a right turn at an intersection, and her car came in contact with a motorcycle making a left turn from the opposite direction.

The driver, a man in his twenties, was not injured. The police are treating the incident as a traffic accident resulting in property damage.

Although Erika Sawajiri is my probably number 1 favorite singer/actress, I'm not sure how comfortable I would feel in a car with her after this :< With all this bad publicity, it seems inevitable that we may not see another single T.T

I think this one can't be consider as a bad publicity because as it stated "accident", it might just happen to anyone.

yup, if it only an "accident" u can say its okay, and it could happen to everyone
n i dont think it will not affect her to make another single/album
and maybe she can make a good song based on this accident

i don't think this will have any influence over her singing/acting career. after all the trouble she caused with her bad attiitude and stuff, this accident just makes everyone think "oh it's typical erika sama again.." no one was hurt, so she should be fine.

Yea, it may not have any influence, but some people honestly don't care if was an accident. If she did it, the papparazzi will be all over it. Well maybe not the American one, but maybe the Japanese one.

Why would a minor traffic 'incident' that caused no injury ruin her?????

I mean look at other cases like Nicholas Tse, numerous car accidents due to his excessive speeding causing injury to the public yet his still filming, singing and making babies with cecilia........

I think she's definitely ruining her image. Previous incidents already make her seem like a moody *****y person.. things like this only support that image. I bet many people blame her for reckless driving or something.

Luckily both of them are safe. No one have been badly injured or killed. There are not enough evidence to prove or to make a conclusion such as Erika's driving is bad anyway.
Maybe the road condition's or the car condition is not good..
