Leah Dizon retires in March...?

TOKYO — Leah Dizon, an American singer currently popular in Japan, will retire in March due to stress, weekly magazine Shukan Gendai reports. According to the magazine, Dizon will not renew any contracts with advertisers or her agency.

A showbiz insider was quoted by the magazine as saying "She was very shocked by some DVDs that were released in Japan, which include nude videos taken while she had been modeling in the U.S." Dizon has also been struggling to sing in Japanese.

Dizon, 21, who was born in Las Vegas, had a phenomenal rise to success in Japan after arriving here in April 2006.

I found some of her songs quite good, well probably the first single though and a bit from her album. But honestly though, why would she choose to sing in Japan if she was already struggling with the language...

Her brand new day is not too boring to my favorite. And I'm not overly shock for Jap AV entertainment to cash-in her popularity on these videos. But still she has a nice body figure.

Dude, that's what she does! lol. It didn't hurt her popularity then, why would it hurt it now? As for the language barrier, I can understand since she's not fluent at it. And her voice...wasn't all that bad ????

I don't blame her if she decided to get out of it, singing or otherwise. Its a tough, tough world. You can see how awkward it is for her, at the end of that clip too. She's cute and stuff when people make her up to be but she's just not picking up on that Japanese cutesy thing too well. She was a guest for Suberanai Hanashi, now why? She can't even understand half of what's going on.

She's a gravure model who tried a go at singing like so many of them do, unfortunately they couldn't make her live voice very good, she's also singing way higher than she speaks so its probably way hard for her.

If she wanted to continue modeling I think she could still have a decent career because pretty much most of her fans are men who buy those mags anyway. :O
