Yeah, TM Revolution is good too so maybe try abingdon boys school since its a band made by TM Revolution. Also, UVERworld might suit your taste too, J-pop/J-rock, right?

You should check out Road of Major and Asian Kung Fu Generation. Also get some Last Alliance. Also DEFINITELY try to find something by Discord, I only have "Don't Leave Without Saying Goodbye" but it's an AWESOME album and I think you'd like it.

I used to listen to and only AKG (jrock wise), but then some of their songs got annoying (Blue Train still rocks) but now I listen to Nightmare, Ellegarden, Monkey Magik Dir en Grey, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Gackt. T.M. Revolution does have some good songs. ZIPS and Albiero are one of my favorites.

Abingdon Boys School if you're into dark, yet energetic rock. The lead singer is the guy from T.M. Revolution which is another great band. I've been getting into Gackt a lot lately, another dark rock band.
