I think you should try Tamaki Nami, Utada Hikaru,Ichikawa Chiaki, Tainaka Sachi and Mizuki Nana if you want some pop.And maybe L'arc~en~ciel, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, UVERworld, Porno graffiti for some rock. You can also try High and Migthy Color ^^

I would strongly recommend Ishikawa Chiaki and some of the See-Saw songs. BACK-ON is a pretty good rock band and Nobodyknows+ is pretty good for rap.

I recommend listening to every single I've Sound artist you could get your hands on. I love anything they put out, Eiko Shimamiya who did songs for Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni also part of I've sound. Also try Arai Akino and DEFINITELY get some Miyuki Hashimoto.

I'm going to try to find more stuff from Mikuni Shimokawa and Sachi Tainaka. I need to listen to more stuff from Yuna Ito and I need to try Miyuki Hashimoto.

Sorry, I've been kind of busy, so I'm being slow on this.

Yuna Ito is definitely a must listen-to. She is just phenomenal.
Otherwise, I guess really does depend on your type of music. I love Ai Otsuka, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, TWO-MIX, m.o.v.e., T.M.Revolution, access, ORANGE RANGE, FLOW, Younha. But my tastes are kind of all over the map.

Actually, I've heard of a lot of the ones you mentioned.
I never could get myself to like High and Mighty Color, Flow, or Orange Range...

yup MELL is an I'VE Girls but Lia is not, she's just sang some of I'VE SOUND music for some occasion, and she's not part of the I"VE SOUND Girls.

and i agree with an3h, stephanie is really good. she's my favorite artist right now. and angela aki must be in your list too.

if you like I'VE SOUND music, you should try hear FIVE RECORD music. they are in the same music type. some of their artist are, AYANE (not ayana i've), KAORI and KURENAI (if im not mistaken)

The Abe Mao album Free was not too bad.. if you like some rock and melancholy songs...
And Kylee's (forgot her surname heard it on youtube) Vacancy Single ... she is/sounds like Avril Lavigne? with some Japanese heritage mixed in so it may not count and her songs are in English
And for some R&B you could try the older RSP songs like Lifetime Respect.
And not to forget Ayaka Hirahara and Chatmonchy ...
The others have been mentioned earlier ... i think ... and those that i have mentioned may also be repeets
