Does any anyone know much about Genki Rockets? Not sure if they're entirely Japanese, but apparently their song Heavenly Star was in Lumines 2 and also No More Heroes. The music video is too amazing not to check out, and the song is really catchy too. Definitely one of the coolest PV I've ever seen.

From what I've gathered, they're like Gorillaz in the aspect that the "performers" that you see aren't real. The lead female singer, Lumi, is entirely computer generated. Even her voice is synthesized from samples of other female singers.

So wow...for a chick that's not real, she's cute, and has a good voice, haha.

*Group of Japanese sound producers.
*Vocal is mostly by Nami Miyahara (Voice Actress) and some by Rachel Rhodes.
* Lumi's model is Rachel Rhodes

I love them!!! They are like Gorrilaz: they don't exist in reality but Genki Rockets are only a creation of a music producer and a videogames producer. I think their album si one of the best in the electropop area.

I see how they're kinda like Gorillaz, but there's only one CG character, but whatever. I like the musical style and the vocals. Have they released any albums so far this year?
