    korean drama

although right now i am in taiwan studying chinese, i have been living in korea for generally my whole life.
and what i noticed from watching drama there is that most of them follow a general rule (or pattern).
it seems that they can never expand beyond themes based on love triangles (or polygons) and sickness.
i personally liked quite of few of them myself, but soon got sick of the repetition. maybe its because i am a guy... well, i dunno - just wanna hear your opinion(s) on this.

i agree love triangles get so redundant after a while especially in korean dramas. i mean there are really good ones but not enough to overcome the bad. that's why i prefer jdrama because there are more options that aren't love triangles
