I feel it won’t be anything like the actual Dragonball series.. That will suck.
But whether that means the movie as a soul entity would suck, disregarding any expectations from that standpoint, I’m still not sure…
Guess the final decision can’t be made till it’s seen…

I think too many people are jumping the gun when it comes to this movie. Why bash a movie you haven't even seen yet? I always think certain films are going to be bad just based on the previews, but then it turns out to be one of my favorite movies. Although I do agree with many that it doesn't have the Dragonball look that I was hoping for, I think it will be an okay film.

Plus, if anything, go see it to see Ayumi Hamasaki's theme song! ^_^

Yeaaah, I lol'ed when i read that.

But on the other hand, i think that the movie is going to be soo bad and soo cheesy that it might actually cross over the line and be good, or at least way funny. Take it for what it's worth, pure entertainment with no redeeming social value. I'm bracing myself to laugh at the ridiculousness. And hey, the special effects should be pretty decent, it seems like they'll be pumping in the moneys in that area (as opposed to screenwriting/factchecking/overall design).

its very hollywood, which i can understand, and very modern. But really, i do oppose the idea that Bulma has guns. although she was a spunky girl, she still didnt carry guns, she had the capsules for that. I like how they modernized Yamcha, he more gangster, before he was just a low life crook. I hope they improve on the fighting, i wanna see people flashing, and scenes where people cant see goku fighting.

i see the trailer and it is not that good, another disappoint movie and hope it did ok... like one of the last live action db movie... if you guy know what i am talking about

i think the movie is an embarrassment. they chose a horrible actor for goku personaly i think they should have chosen an asian person just because goku looks more asian than white and bulma WTF! two words.....
