dear god, wtf is this. looks like an another disaster coming our way. i hope this is a joke trailer, like that Zelda trailer. a white boy for Goku? lmao. this movie has potential to be one of the worst movies of 2009. lol there's some pretty ridiculous cast here. Emmy Rossum as Bulma? loloool. chow-yun fat as master roshi and he doesn't look old enough. also, american R&B singer Mario was almost casted too rofl. and finally, the sole reason i might go see this movie, even tho theres a strong chance this couldl be one of the worst movies i've ever seen, is Jamie Chung as Chi Chi. she's actually worth looking at.

Will be total crap. Remember Ken and Mortal Kombat movies? My eyes are bleeding from just remembering I've wasted time watching them. Chow Yun Fat's presence in the movie won't help either...

I don't mind live action, I have watched some that are nice.
I thought dragonball live action wouldnt be strange if they get a japanese.

rofl xD the rumors of this movie are as old as the DB GT Saga I think but now it will be produced as it seems xD however since I don't know any good anime - real film I won't expect too much of this movie lool
btw: I can't imagine any special effect for making the Kame Hame Ha look good xD that goes for other techniques as well lool

well I'm still kinda keen on watching this haha just to laugh a bit more about it xD

A lot of people have mixed feelings about this movie. While the movie may be bad itself, it is still worth the money to see it. I will go see it at the theater as soon as it comes here. I am thinking it will be bad, but I know it will be worth seeing.

When I heard that a live action movie version of Dragonball was being produced, my expectations on its' quality was very low. When it is in cartoon form, it is easier to accept a person with a monkey tail or throwing fireballs but when its' brought to reality, it just looks ridiculous.

Hell, the mistake has been made when they started thinking about takin' it live action.
They should start to notice that DB is something which was commercialzed the inners out of it.
The good old "one more skin of it" strategy starts to fail in franchises like this. But I know many people will go to the movies and watch it, I just hope they will pay much for the ticket, or else they will fail to see what kind of crap were they watching.

Goku must be spinning in his grave. Shame.

There's a review of the movie in Ain't It Cool News from a contributor. It's from a test screening. And apparently, the reviewer/contributor liked the movie enough coz it exceeded his/her crappy expectations from the movie.

It's from AICN, so it's debatable whether the reviewer is a plant or not. But personally, I didn't like the review. I just can't see Justin Chatwin giving a credible performance as Goku, probably coz his look distracts the hell out of me. I just can't see this movie surpassing my already bottom-of-the-barrel expectations.
