Rising Chinese actress Zhou Xun will play a taxi driver searching for a missing boyfriend in the urban romance called ``The Encounters of Li Mi'' in Chinese, a spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

The Chinese-language movie is scheduled to start shooting Tuesday in southern Yunnan province for a month or two, Ran Zi, a publicist for Zhou, told The Associated Press in a phone interview.
