TVB held a promotion event for its latest drama "Survivor's Law II" in Tseung Kwan O. Actor Kenneth Ma and actress Ella koon were on stage in their lawyer's gown and the artiste played games on stage.pot to play the game. However Kenneth Ma was so engrossed that he forgot he was in the lawyer's attire and started jumping and dancing on stage which seems detrimental to the image of the legal profession.
The artiste played a game of poker and eventually Kenneth lost and was asked to perform a striptease. Kenneth was a bit hesitant at first as he was in the lawyer's attire and fearing he may be charged but he completed his task at the end. During his routine, he took off the lawyer's gown and jacket performing the striptease, the whole scene was hilarious.
Afterwards, Kenneth commented that he hopes the public will not feel offended and asked for their understanding. He just wanted to create atmosphere and that they be lenient on him.
He pointed out that the law profession is a very professional line as during the filming for the series, in some scenes the dialogue can be quite 'deep'. In the end, they had to change the script.
He wished for the viewers to watch the series objectively and for those who are lawyers, not to view the show too seriously.
"Survivor's Law II" will begin broadcasting on Christmas Eve. Kenneth remarked that this is his first time starring in the leading role. He said frankly that he had no expectations because it is the first week into the holiday period and the second week to New Year's Day.
Although Ella had put on the lawyer's gown, her skirt had a high slit at the side and during the games, she kept exposing her slender legs. She expressed that she had alreadhy known beforehand and had taken precautions. She jokingly said that once in a while she could feel a breeze blowing so she used the gown to cover up.
