Last week, it was announced that the live-action "Dragonball" movie has been delayed. It was originally scheduled to open in theaters worldwide on August 15, but the date has been pushed back to April 3, 2009. However, it was reported today that Japan will end up getting the movie ahead of everyone else, sometime in March 2009.

I'm tempted to watch this, just to see how bad it'll be but I do have some faith in the movie as I think Stephen Chow is a good producer and he wouldn't do something if he knew it would suck so much. Although, you can't always produce good films.
Either way, the film better be decent. I'd quite like to keep my eyeballs from not exploring due to lameness on their behalf.
i'll try to remain as calm as possible....i was extremely disappointed by the death note movies,i hope i won't with this one...

i am not a against a good movie (plot,special effects...),but the chances that they screw it are high

The death note movies disappointed me too, but I think those had a bigger chance of turning out well than this movie. Dragonnball won't work as a live action movie, just like Sailor moon..
Yeah, most likely won't be very good, however it will still be quite funny/interesting to see the effects they use

Im not really sure about this one..a live action moive just doesnt sound very convincing - the effects, the costumes/outfits...and the hairstyles..it'll be hard to pull off.
Yea, I agree with u. I just can't imagine how hideous it might be with that super spiky hair and weird costumes. Usually, live action will disgrace the anime.
