Korea's sensational boy band Dong Bang Shin Ki releases their fourth full-length Korean album Mirotic, much to the excitement of fans who have been waiting patiently for almost two years. The album's title Mirotic comes from the Korean word "miro" (which means "maze") and the English suffix "-tic"; together, the title is intended to mean being warped into the depths of a labyrinth. Returning to K-pop after two years of working primarily in Japan, the boys reel out their masculine appeal with powerful beats and memorable tunes. Speaking of sending love energy to an attractive girl, the album's title song Mirotic (Track 1) is a reverse-beat dance number for which TVXQ collaborated with renowned Scandinavian songwriters Remee and Thomas Troelsen (the producing team behind BoA's American debut song Eat You Up) and famous dance choreographer Kenny Wormald, who previously worked with big names like Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, and Christina Aguilera.

I was waiting for a decent rip for so long and finally it came. You can't imagine my happiness at this time. Okay, you can. Just imagine a retarded kid jumping like a dancing monkey in the middle of his room. This is what you get with a realistic imagination.

Starting with Mirotic, which is one of the best songs that they already have throughout their career. The music has pretty much the formula of BoA's Eat You Up, basically from the same producer of it, therefore, awesomeness multiplied by gazillions. I assume, I do assume. Wrong Number gives me multiple orgasms. And this is serious, not merely interpret it as a little joke. Very good, very good indeed, and such a great song to accompany the boom left by Myerotic. Afterglow is a calm and touching ballad, with strong vocals. No more hideous R&B ballads! Our guys did the right thing, people! CRAZY LOVE is a typical "electronic" song (I don't know if I can consider this word the right one to describe the song, but whatever) massively released nowadays in Korea. Last Farewell, anyone? Still, perfect. <3 HEY! Is the first track on the album that leaked out, and since then it has changed a little bit. Well, a little little bit, but it changed. The song is interesting but does not have that epic feel of most other tracks. Good, but not enough to take a listen in the whole year.

You're my melody is a very very good mid-tempo song. It shows how our guys even know how to make good music. One of the best tracks in the album, really impressed me at first sight. Rainbow and Paradise are those typical songs that almost nobody cares too much, forgettable at all. They're good but I repeat what I said about HEY!: nice songs, but not enough to make me love it as much as the other ones. On cross-part, Are you A Good Girl? is a really energetic and dance-y song. It let me completely excited. I liked it a lot, lot, lot, lot, lot, reeeeally good. This dancing and electronic style fitted well with them, honestly. Flower Lady is another damn awesome song that I liked a lot too. Forgotten Season is Jaejoong's solo, and I couldn't expect anything better. Amazing song, amazing vocals. All. The korean version of love in the Ice (which ends up on 4:05 suddenly, with no reasons) is, actually, very pretty. I like the original one even better, but nah, this version is still good enough for me. Such a holy key to finish the album.

At all, my comments about this album would be dorky and stupid indeed to post here, so I'm gonna try modify them a little. One of the best albums of the year, with no trance of doubt. Even the not-so-good-songs don't make it any less epic than it is. You are a fugly giraffe if you do not download this album right now, I tell you. And I tell you that the power "mirotic" will turn against you too if you don't do it.
