At the start of this month, the Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan (also known as Eiren) launched its official movie database. It currently covers all movies made or distributed by Shochiku, Toho, Toei, and Kadokawa Pictures after the year 2000. Earlier films will be added to the database in the future.
