    Creepy Japanese Dentist Robot

The following video shows a Japanese dentistry student peering into the mouth of a new patient - a humanoid practice robot with a complete set of pearly white teeth at Japan's largest robot convention in Tokyo. The life-size dental training robot, dubbed Simroid for "simulator humanoid," has realistic skin, eyes, and a mouth that can be fitted with replica teeth that trainees practice drilling on and cries in pain when the drilling goes wrong.

Whats wrong with using todays technology to better the new comers of the dental industry???

I mean seriously wouldnt you rather have all the dentists practice on robots during their initial days and making mistakes on the robots rather than real patients?

Just imagine, if this is panned out the future will be filled with experienced new dentists and most likely people's phobia of the drilling and all will slowly dissappear and end as an urban legend
