    Beautiful Lesson !!!!!!!!

Hai guys, just wanna share with all you about his story. I'm not sure whether all of you knew about it. However, I still wanna share with all of you. I knew about it from my friends who did e-mail it to me:

    Beautiful Lesson !!!!!!!!

The girl in the picture is Katie Kirkpatrick, she is 21. Next to her, her fiancé, Nick, 23. The picture was taken shortly before their wedding ceremony, held on January 11, 2005 in the US. Katie has terminal cancer and spend hours a day receiving medication. In the picture, Nick is waiting for her on one of the many sessions of Chemo to end.

In spite of all the pain, organ failures, and morphine shots, Katie is going along with her wedding and took care of every detail. The dress had to be adjusted a few times due to her constant weight loss.

An unusual accessory at the wedding was the oxygen tube that Katie used throughout the ceremony and reception as well. The other couple in the picture are Nick's parents. Excited to see there son marrying his high school sweetheart.

Katie, in her wheelchair with the oxygen tube, listening a song from her husband and friends

At the reception, Katie had to take a few rest breaks. The pain wouldn't allow her to stand up for long periods.

Katie died five days after her wedding day. Watching a women so ill and weak getting married and with a smile on her face makes us think..... Happiness is reachable, no matter how long it last. We should stop making our lives complicated.

**EDITED: Done editing it. Hopefully all of you can see the pictures. Let me know if you still can't see it AND let me know if I did it the wrong way.

You couldn't post the pics? I could see them by going to the original source and the NPPA site (which you linked to), but it'd be still nice if you could edit and put up those pics in the thread here as well.

It sure is a touching story. She was beautiful to the end, she and her courage.

I guess the site doesn't allow hotlinking. you'll have to save all images and upload them to some image hosting service (imageshak.us) and post the new image links

Heartwarming indeed ... but i do not mean to sound like a wet blanket ... but isn't all that short burst of happiness just setting the guy up for a huge crash ...?
Better moderate doses of happiness over a long period of time than a one-time short burst of 'euphoric happiness'.
That said if 'euphoric happiness' could be achieved over constantly over extended periods of time then all the better ...
